Langton Field Caravan Park is owned and run by Gavin and Anya Bell. It is set on our farm which has been in the family for four generations. With changing fortunes in farming, Gavin had the idea of diversifying into static caravans, and, with the full support of parents Alastair and Anne, they spent three years planning and building our small, 12 berth static holiday caravan park.

Gavin always knew the perfect location, a few acres near the farmhouse and buildings that look on to Murton Pike and High Cup Nick. They wanted to do the job properly, so you’ll find expertly erected dry stone walls, trees (and an apple orchard) planted and plots laid out to make the most of the views.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility, but easy access to the outside world, this is the perfect place. 360-degree uninterrupted vistas create the perfect get away from it all feeling – whilst just 2 minutes down the road is bustling market town of Appleby with its local food producers, independent shops, restaurants and even a SPA hotel for weary ‘soles’ after a day on the fells.

As farming folk, we’re friendly, down to earth and practical, and because we live and work on the farm, we’re always on hand for advice and help when you need it.

Open from 1st March – 9th January, we’re glad to be building our small park community. There are caravans and plots already spoken for, but we still have room for a few more people (and well behaved dogs).

About the family – from Gavin

I understand that you wouldn’t want to buy a caravan from just anyone, and think it’s important for you to know as much about me as you can. The man you’ll see most on the site would be me, Gavin, as I’m often about on the telehandler or tending to the sheep (who happen to live right by the caravan park).

I’m married to Anya and we have two amazing little boys together, we all live on the farm and are chuffed that we are able to share our lovely views with so many new families too. I’m a big family man, so I really do love working with my dad – farming is in the blood, but maybe my lads will take more to running a caravan park!

I like to think that I’m a really approachable bloke, so if you’re even just at the start of considering owning a caravan and would like to take a look around one inside I’d be happy to show you one on our site and explain the buying process.
